
Stretch & Move at Work - Chair Yoga
Service Description
Chair Yoga is a gentle practice where postures are performed while seated and/or with the aid of a chair to improve strength, decrease stress, manage and reduce pain, and invite intentional movement and counterbalancing into muscles that are prone to overuse due to our work/life demands. It is ideal for anyone needing a physical movement break while at work and people with mobility restrictions. Breathing techniques are taught to help promote focus, mental clarity, and relaxation, and reduce stress and anxiety. Classes will have natural 20 minute break for those on a shorter break, and will continue for another 20 minutes, plus a final relaxation to end at 45 minutes. *Customized classes can be 20 minutes long for those on a shorter break, or up to 50 minutes. Unique Zoom link will be sent out prior to class, with each class being recorded and available to watch for 24 hours.
