FAQs
1. How to book online
Register for each class individually, whether paying individually or with a specially priced 4-pack. Your purchased packages will track number of sessions you have booked.
2. Preparing for an online class
Wear comfortable clothes that you can easily move in and have a yoga mat or an area that you have good foot grip. Avoid a full stomach, allowing you to bend forward over your legs with comfort.
To make the class the best possible, the following will help:
-
a yoga mat
-
one to two yoga blocks
-
chip foam block (pillow can be used instead)
-
rectangular bolster
-
8’ strap (belts and leashes can be used)
-
a blanket.
A reputable Canadian yoga prop supplier to purchase from is Halfmoon.
3. Preparing for a chair yoga class
Wear comfortable clothing that you can easily move in and use a chair that is stable. Ideally a fold out or kitchen table chair with no arms. If using an office chair, adjust your chair height so when your feet are flat on the floor, your knees are even with your hips. If you can lock your office chair in place or have it against a wall preventing it from rolling around, that will be beneficial. Avoid a full stomach so you can bend forward over your legs with comfort.
4. Preparing your space
Wear layers of clothing or have a blanket nearby. Create a quiet space for yourself, distraction free. Turn off phones, notifications and anything else that may interrupt you, just like you were entering a yoga studio. This is your time for yourself. Protect it and make it supportive of your experience so you reap the maximum benefits.
5. Zoom
To attend an online yoga session, you will need to download and install “Zoom Client for Meetings” on your laptop, tablet or mobile phone. Click here to download Zoom now. All class registrations will provide you with a unique Zoom meeting ID and URL link to join directly to that specific class. Your Zoom Meeting ID will be in your confirmation email as well as the reminder email sent out prior to class.
6. What if I miss some or the entire class?
We’ve got you covered! The class will be recorded and available for 24 hours to everyone who registers, with a link that is emailed post yoga session.
